پس از سفرهای مارکوپولو به کشور هند و ایران بود که کشورهای اروپایی با ذائقه شرقی ها آشنا شدند و از ادویه های آن ها برای آشپزی استفاده کردند. هنگامی که ما از فهرست ادویه ها صحبت می کنیم، باید در نظر داشته باشید که تفاوت زیادی بین ادویه های داخل ایران و کشورهای اروپایی است و برخی از کشورها از مواد متفاوتی نسبت به ما ایرانی ها استفاده میکنند. امروز در کلینیک تخصصی رفیعی قصد داریم همراه با شما نگاهی به فهرست تمامی ادویه ها انداخته و این مباحث را به شما آموزش دهیم.  

 

ادویه به انگلیسی

در زبان انگلیسی از لغت Spice استفاده می کنند که در صورت جمع بسته شدن تنها یک S به آن اضافه می شود. در نظر داشته باشید تفاوت ریزی بین Spice و Herbs وجود دارد و شما نمی توانید هر دو را به یک معنی بکار ببرید. Herbs به گیاهانی گفته می شود که فرایندی بر روی آنها انجام نشده است، ولی Spice به گیاهانی گفته می شود که بر روی آن ها فراوری صورت گرفته باشد.

 

هل ادویه به انگلیسی

یکی از اصلی ترین ادویه هایی که در ایران از آن استفاده می شود، ادویه هل است که در زبان انگلیسی به آن Cardamom گفته می شود.

 

هل سبز به انگلیسی

بسیاری از زبان آموزان تصور می کنند با اضافه کردن لغت Green به اول لغت Cardamom در اصل به هل سبز اشاره می کنند، ولی در زبان انگلیسی از لغت علمی Elettaria cardamomum استفاده می شود.

 

ادویه کاری به انگلیسی

ادویه کاری که برای اولین بار از هندوستان به دنیا معرفی شد، امروزه به یکی از اصلی ترین ادویه ها بین انگلیسی زبان ها تبدیل شده و از همان اسم نیز استفاده می کند. در زبان انگلیسی به ادویه کاری Curry گفته می شود
